This is the floorplan of a 3-room flat in Singapore, although in ZBJ we consider it as a 2-room flat. It is on the 6th level but due to the fact that the 1st level has nobody staying in it, it is considered as 5th level. The unit occupies the corridor solely by itself, so it is the 1st on the row.
A period 7 house sitting north2 facing south2 and the occupants moved in since 2003 without any form of renovations since.
There are two occupants, both ladies (mother and daughter relationship), mother sleeps in the 8 6 room while the daughter occupies the 7 7 room. They have both won the lottery (minor sum) once respectively this year (2007 - Ding Hai).
Using the ZBJ techniques, can anyone come out with the respective months? (I will post the 2 months that they struck the lottery after a while)
*Hint: They struck the lottery separately in two different months.

For what little FS that I know. both combos of 8-6 and 7-7 are good for $. Not sure whether certain stars arrived at the main door ate certain months last year, but I wonder is the relationship between mother and daughter ok?
My wild guess is, both of them strike the lotteries somewhere in mid 2007 though i could be wrong.
Damn! Wonder when I'll strike mine. I need to buy a ticket first! ;-)
The relationship btw mother and daughter strained.....seldom talk. Daughter struck in mid 2007 and mother struck in late 2007.
Ahh... So my guess that they might have relationship problem was true.
Let me guess again, the daughter strike somewhere around June/ July and the mother strike somewhere around October/ November? Though I may be wrong again.

sorry kenneth i got a bit of problem reading your floor plan and the star chart in tandem. A bit confusing.
Anyway I got one question for everyone here. Before we carry out any replacement method, do we have to do a qi distribution to determine the various stars combo in various compartment as what we have learnt in Yang FS course? If it is not needed, then very straightforward, we can just based on 9 grid (which i dun think so). The chart posted does not seem to have carried out the qi distribution step. Pls feel free to correct me :)
Agree with the qi distribution part commented by JC. Am just curious to experiment the state of accuracy if just only using the 9 grid of ZBJ (esp the 1-4 activ)for any sign of happening.

The next Yang Zhai Course is on 28 Feb - 2 Mar 2008 most likely in KL. Kenneth, do take note of that as you'll be more 'enlightened' after the course. I'm very sure.
Could the daughter have strike the lottery on the 1st week of June?

Kenneth: Thks for the case study..i guess this also allow us to sometime think in different perspective. Foundation of the rule is important for any sport or game...Dynamics in application can further open more window.

xfactor: Most welcome! ^ ^ I took the main door, the occupant's sector, door of that sector, as well as the bed.
But I only utilized the annual and monthly flying star to do the analysis. As for the application of the ZBJ, I will post up what I did soon (when I get off work - now still at work lar!).

my qi distribution is slightly different. I treat the star combo in mom's room as 6,8 (SW).
i wld like to chk with u on few things:
1. why do u need to take a look at the room door at 7-7?
2. Just curious what gua no. are the occupants?
3. You directly go into replacement mtd for monthly star. Do we need to compare this with the yearly star (after using mth replace mth)?
4. Did u take 7,7 room as 1st compartment?
5.What abt comparing hetu and flying star elements? Not sure if that gives clue on why they struck lottery.
Let me know your views. Very interesting but also very tricky. I am wondering what is the trigger for lottery...eg, is it the star combo after doing the replacement mtd...thanks :)
jc: I get a little inkling on what you mean by qi distribution; do you mean the writing of numbers on the chart and distributing according to the compartments?

2. They don't have birth data because they belong to the war torn period.
3. I used yearly replacement with the monthly replacement (stacking effect).

5. Yup, I checked out the elements and they show the combination of wealth.
I am only making a guess that it has to be congruent with both the FS stars and replacement chart combos for the lottery trigger.
